The NGO Remar works in favor of children and the most disadvantaged people in Ecuador. Since the start, the mission has been to improve the living conditions of children, families and communities in the poorest regions through projects of self-sustainability, integral development and activities of raising awareness.”
During the month of August, Remar and One Heart Ministries have joined forces to carry out evangelistic and community support activities in the most remote areas of the country.
One Heart Global Ministries works to bring support to the most remote areas of the indigenous regions , it has opened its doors to the girls from the Remar homes in Ecuador, along with other volunteers so that they can join this trip to the indigenous areas. Carrying out this activity has been very beneficial for each of the volunteers who participated, giving them the opportunity to know some places and a reality unknown to them until today.
Four indigenous communities have been visited, one of which is located in an area over 4,000 meters above sea level, where there is only cold weather.
Remar along with One Heart, have brought each of these children food, shoes and most importantly, the message of the gospel of Christ. On the last day in favor of our girls from Remar, One Heart provided a unique and exciting experience, giving them the opportunity to visit the famous city of Baños, with extreme activities and jungle landscapes. We thank One Heart for their support with Remar, their willingness in inhospitable places and for their fellowship in Christ.
The goal of the NGO Remar in Ecuador is to work voluntarily and to fight against marginalization, hunger, poor nutrition, misery, disease, underdevelopment and lack of education; to carry out programs to eradicate the structural causes that produce: injustice, unequal distribution of goods and opportunities among individuals and people, ignorance, prejudice, lack of solidarity, indifference and the crisis of human and Christian values.
