Like every year we remember day of the Three Kings, we were able to distribute gifts and candies to all the children in the Malakasa refugee camp in Athens.
We would like to give a special thank you to the project El Arca in Milán for the donation of toys, and for all their collaboration in making this activity possible.
We would also like to thank Remar in Italy, our friends and collaborators.
We are aware that these are difficult times for everyone, it has been a year in of suffering, losses, illnesses, restrictions and various afflictions… and we remember that its even more difficult for the families who continue to live in the refugee camps today. Although they hardly make the news anymore, life in the refugee camps has not changed.
The volunteers of the NGO Remar in Greece who work in theses camps tell us: We would like to wish you a happy Three Kings Day from Athens, as one of the greatest blessings of our day to day is being able get smiles of those who have nothing, giving us encouragement to carry on.
