President of Remar NGO and directors of European countries meet in Chernivtsi, Ukraine

The President of REMAR ONG Miguel Díez Alvarez, his wife Mari Carmen Jiménez and the Directors of some European countries, visit the city of Chernivtsi, in the interior of Ukraine where they have met with the Vice Governor and Mayor of the city and also local authorities, who have donated a building where REMAR will take in children and young people orphaned by the war. They also visited the humanitarian aid point, where two 500-square-meter tents have been set up to care for thousands of people.

In this place, the REMAR SOS volunteers, with much love daily, serve a hot menu for more than 1,400 people and also deliver more than 600 boxes of food to the families that still remain inside Ukraine, without resources and provisions, to survive in a devastated country totally in crisis because of the war.

We are very grateful to God for the work that REMAR is doing in this country, serving thousands of refugee women, children, the elderly, and youth every day, all of whom need food, attention, help, care, and love.

The inhabitants of the land of Tema brought water to him that was thirsty, they prevented with their bread him that fled.15 For they fled from the swords, from the drawn sword, and from the bent bow, and from the grievousness of war.”
