As we approach the end of a year full of challenges and blessings, we at REMAR would like to take this moment to express our deepest gratitude. Every smile we have seen, every life we have touched, and every story of transformation has been possible thanks to wonderful people, full of love and solidarity, who have believed in our mission and have decided to be part of this path of love and hope
A Year of Impact
2024 has been a year in which solidarity has shone brighter than ever. Through our initiatives, we have achieved:
Emergency Response: REMAR has excelled in disaster response, such as the work carried out after the DANA in Valencia. There, immediate aid was provided to thousands of people who lost everything, offering food, clothing and shelter. In addition, the NGO has established a long-term presence in the region to continue helping in the reconstruction of lives and communities.
REMAR SOS in Ukraine: In the midst of a devastating conflict, REMAR SOS has remained committed to those affected. In Ukraine, we continue to provide warm food, shelter and emotional support to hundreds of people every day. This work of love and sacrifice shows that even in the most difficult circumstances, compassion and faith can endure and be strengthened.
Sending Humanitarian Aid: This year, containers loaded with hope and solidarity were sent from various countries, filled with essential resources to support communities in extreme need. These initiatives are the result of a joint effort between volunteers, donors and collaborators of REMAR NGO committed to bringing help and love to those who need it most.
Providing food and shelter to thousands of people in vulnerable situations, allowing them to experience the warmth of a home.
Transforming the lives of children, youth and adults who found a safe place in REMAR, where their wounds began to heal.
Every dish served, every word of encouragement, and every gesture of love has been a manifestation of the true meaning of these holidays: sharing, caring, and reflecting God’s love toward those who are most vulnerable.
A Community united by hope and a renewed purpose for the coming year
This year, we have witnessed how our communities in more than 70 countries have come together to face great challenges. Volunteers have worked tirelessly to share not only material resources, but also words of encouragement, love and hope.
As we welcome a new year, we remember that our purpose is clear: to continue being an instrument of God’s love to transform lives. In every REMAR home, in every dish served, in every child rescued, in every community impacted, the message of hope that drives us to continue is reflected.
