HOMELESS MINISTRY

MISSION STATEMENT:

The mission of REMAR USA’s Homeless Ministry is to minister to the spiritual and physical needs of the poor/homeless/needy in Fort Lauderdale and surrounding areas by;

1. Helping to meet their spiritual needs by reaching them to Christ through personal and group evangelism ,prayers. Bible studies ,distribution of bibles and other Christian literature ,and a weekly church service and follow up,as much as possible.
2. Helping meet their physical needs by distribution of such things   as:

•       Food and drink
•       Toiletries
•       Clothing,
•       Blankets
•       Reading glasses
•       Other supportive items to enhance their existence e.g.

We serve a weekly hot meal for the poor/homeless/needy after our Sunday evening service.

FOOD DRIVE

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]The main function is to provide food and sustenance to the most disadvantaged people in society. REMAR cannot remain unmoved by the hunger that exists in some sectors characterized by poverty.

Due to the great crisis due to COVID-19, we are currently distributing food to more than 230 families, in Miami, a total of 600 people are being benefited.

Helped Invisibles who are distributed one day a week a bag with food, clothes and other hygiene products, food from the Food Bank and collaborating companies.

This program was created to try to mitigate the serious problem suffered by many people who find themselves without food, a lack of basic hygiene products and the inability to provide their families with sustenance and basic daily conditions.
