Delivery of Materials to Promote Recycling and Sustainability in the Viliroco “A” Educational Unit of the Municipality of Viacha. REMAR Bolivia committed to education and promoting the circular economy
In an effort to promote environmental care and education in sustainable practices, the NGO REMAR in Bolivia carried out a significant delivery of materials to the Viliroco “A” Educational Unit in the municipality of Viacha, as part of the “Circular Economy” project. towards a Green Entrepreneurship in Communities of the Municipality of Viacha”. This project is part of the Environmental Education and Healthy Schools Program, funded by KIA and the EOM organization of the Netherlands.
Delivery of Materials for the Promotion of Recycling and Sustainability
The delivery ceremony included differentiated containers for the correct separation of waste, vests for the Green Brigades and ecological bags, with the purpose of raising awareness and sensitizing students about the importance of recycling and responsible environmental practices. The educational community, made up of 500 boys and girls at the primary level, now has these tools to put into practice what they learned during the training process in environmental education.
Participation of the Educational Community
The ceremony included the participation of Jon Ugalde, Director of the NGO REMAR in Bolivia, members of the teaching and administrative staff, representatives of the School Board, as well as parents and students, who witnessed this important step towards sustainability.
Integration of environmental practices in education
REMAR Bolivia, in its commitment to the educational community, highlighted the importance of students integrating these habits into their daily lives, not only within school, but also in their homes and communities. Through this initiative, it is sought that the knowledge acquired is transformed into concrete actions that contribute to the well-being of the environment.
