Restitution of the right to food

For 35 vulnerable children, adolescents, and youth living in extreme poverty and without family ties for 12 months

Goal: Provide 35 NNA with a healthy and balanced diet that will allow them to grow and develop physically and cognitively during 12 months, through the fundraising of $47,900 USD.

Expected impact:

  • NNA will have better physical and cognitive growth and development.
  • The prevalence of anemia, low nutrient intake, high blood sugar levels, and other malnutrition-related health problems will be reduced.
  • NNA will improve their academic performance and development opportunities.

Baseline:

  • Three indicators will be measured in a blood test: anemia or low nutrient intake, high blood sugar levels, and anthropometric measurements.
  • A file will be created for each child at the beginning of the project to include their academic grades from school and the teacher’s annotations on their performance and abilities.

Work plan:

  • Human resources: staff of the organization responsible for the project, volunteers.
  • Material resources: food, kitchen equipment, educational materials.
  • Technological resources: data analysis software.

Help 35 NNA have a healthy childhood

The 35 NNA beneficiaries of this project come from families living in extreme poverty and without family ties. As a result, they do not have access to adequate food.

Your donation will help us provide them with a balanced diet three times a day for 12 months. This will allow them to have better physical and cognitive growth and development, and reduce the prevalence of anemia, low nutrient intake, high blood sugar levels, and other health problems related to malnutrition.

Your donation can change the lives of these NNA!
