Thanksgiving at REMAR USA: A time of gratitude and unity

The Thanksgiving celebration at Montura Ranch brings together the REMAR USA community in a family atmosphere, with gratitude to God for His faithfulness and provision, while enjoying together a traditional meal full of love and hope.

“And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” Colossians 3:17

Thanksgiving Celebration 2024 at REMAR USA

Every Thanksgiving, the REMAR USA community gathers in an atmosphere full of joy and gratitude, like one big family. This year, 2024, the community once again came together at the Montura Ranch, where preparations announced that it would be a very special day and the members of REMAR USA dedicated themselves to carefully preparing the traditional dishes of this celebration.

The truly significant thing about this day is not just the meal, but the spirit of unity in each person, from the youngest to the oldest.

Everyone shares a reason for gratitude, and together, they thank God for His constant provision and for the blessings received during the year.

For REMAR USA, Thanksgiving is an opportunity to look back with gratitude. It is a time to remember how God has guided every step, supported every project, and provided to be a blessing and help to the most vulnerable in Florida. This year 2024, as always, was a day to give thanks for all that we have received and to renew the commitment to continue extending His love and help to those who need it most.

Thanksgiving Day: A Tradition with Deep Meaning

Every fourth Thursday in November, Thanksgiving Day brings together millions of families across the United States to reflect on the blessings they have received. Beyond the turkey and the parades, this holiday has a deep historical significance.

Its origins date back to 1621, when the Pilgrims and the Wampanoag Indian community shared a celebration after overcoming a year of great challenges.

This act of gratitude marked the beginning of a tradition that reminds us of the importance of recognizing the achievements made with the help of others and the gratitude to see the hand of God bringing provision through work and effort in unity.

Over the centuries, this day has evolved, becoming a tradition that transcends cultures and generations. It is a reminder that even in the darkest of times, there is always reason to be thankful.

It is not just about the visible blessings, but also about the lessons learned and the people God puts in our path to support us.

Gratitude: A Priceless Treasure

Gratitude is a treasure in the hearts of those who practice it. Being thankful helps us remember   that every blessing, no matter how small, is a priceless gift. Psalm 103:2 expresses this in a special way: “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits.”

This passage invites us to cultivate a grateful heart that does not forget God’s goodness and mercy in the past, thus strengthening faith and hope in the present.

At REMAR USA, we recognize the transformative power of gratitude. This value drives us to serve with love, to reach out to those in need, and to value every provision that God provides. It is a constant reminder of His faithfulness and His love that sustains us every step of the way.
