Proverbs 22:6 says: “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.”
The NGO Remar works so that hundreds of children in many countries have access to quality education
The World Education Day is celebrated on January 24th every year, with the purpose of promoting education and raising awareness of its importance for sustainable development. In 2024, it is celebrated under the motto “Learning for lasting peace,” as a call to action for education to be used as a tool to promote peace and conflict resolution.
The NGO REMAR promotes and teaches in all the schools under its care in various countries, an education for peace, teaching children from a young age that true peace comes from within the heart, a peace that the world cannot comprehend but remains steadfast in the face of life’s challenges and conflicts.

The commitment of the NGO Remar to education
On the International Day of Education, the NGO Remar celebrates its commitment to the education of the most needy children and youth worldwide. With a presence in more than 70 countries, Remar provides education through schools recognized by local authorities, where quality education is provided to hundreds of children daily.
Children at risk and education
The NGO REMAR is responsible for children and young people from various backgrounds. Abandoned and orphaned children, those living in extreme poverty or dysfunctional families, children from low-income families, or those living with their mothers in foster homes. Each child entering REMAR’s foster homes receives nutrition, education, care, protection, and everything necessary for their growth, as any child is entitled to.
The impact of education on children’s lives
REMAR’s commitment to childhood and youth is to provide them with a quality of life, protection, security, and an education based on civic and Christian values. One of the main goals is for all children who are part of REMAR to feel integrated, loved, and part of a large family.
Each year, dozens of young people graduate from REMAR’s schools at the secondary level, as high school graduates, teachers, etc. Thanks to their work, hundreds of children and young people have had the opportunity to study and learn a trade, allowing them to have a better future.
The work of the NGO Remar on the International Day of Education
We thank God for the work of the NGO REMAR through its missionaries and volunteers, helping in the training of hundreds of young people who were once children and are now professionals and useful to society. They have been educated in a culture of peace and non-violence, contributing today in the places where they operate, new ways of life, and Christian values in which they were formed during their years of study.
Caring for at-risk children and youth as everyone’s responsibility
On the International Day of Education, REMAR reaffirms its commitment to the education of the most needy children and young people worldwide, making a call to action to continue educating, teaching, and helping thousands of children worldwide. Education is the key to a better future, and we all have a role to play in ensuring that all children have access to quality education.
