REMAR Bolivia celebrates the closing of the first phase of the project “It is Never Too Late to Learn”, focused on training women in vulnerable situations. With the support of the City Council of Seville, this program transforms lives in El Alto and La Paz
REMAR Bolivia celebrates with joy the successful closing of the first phase of the project “It is Never Too Late to Learn”, a program dedicated to training young women and adolescents in vulnerable situations in the cities of El Alto and La Paz.
This joint effort was possible thanks to the collaboration between REMAR Bolivia, the Women’s Unit of the Directorate of Childhood, Gender and Social Care of the Municipal Autonomous Government of El Alto, and the generous financial support of the City Council of Seville, Spain.
Expo-fair and certificate delivery
The closing event was held in the city of El Alto, where the participants happily and enthusiastically displayed the fruits of their learning. During this first phase, more than 30 women were trained in skills such as:
- Sewing Machine Operation
- Cutting and Sewing
- Printing on clothing
The expo-fair allowed the creations made during the project to be displayed, highlighting the creativity and talent of each woman. The participants also received their training certificates, marking a new beginning in their lives.

This achievement would not have been possible without the unconditional support of our collaborators:
- City Hall of Seville, Spain
We extend our deep gratitude to the City Council of Seville, whose funding made the implementation of this program possible. Their commitment has been key to helping and strengthening the women of these communities.
- Women’s Unit of the Municipal Government of El Alto
We would also like to thank the Women’s Unit for providing the necessary spaces and accompanying us on this journey. Their collaboration has been fundamental in benefiting the families and women of the community.
God bless you abundantly for your kindness and willingness to help!
“Whatever you do, do it heartily, as working for the Lord and not for men.”
