The NGO REMAR in Brazil celebrated its 10th International Congress with great joy and unity on October 11, 12 and 13 at the Padre Bento Theater in the city of Guarulhos. Under the motto “Wise Virgins,” the event was a celebration of unity, joy and communion among brothers, friends and collaborators of REMAR Brazil.

The Presence of REMAR Leaders and Guest Pastors

The congress included the special participation of Pastor and President of REMAR NGO, Miguel Díez, and his wife, Mari Carmen Jiménez. In addition, pastors and leaders of the Body of Christ Churches and leaders of REMAR throughout Brazil attended, along with pastors of invited churches, who joined together to share a time of spiritual strengthening.

During the three days of the event, plenary sessions were held that included music, praise, testimonies and messages from the Word of God. People from all the communities where REMAR is present in Brazil participated, enjoying moments of spiritual growth and family.

Wedding Supper: A Space for Edification and Unity

One of the most special moments of the congress was the Wedding Dinner, where Pastor Miguel Díez and his wife Mari Carmen Jiménez shared an edifying message. They were accompanied by Paulo Andrade, Director of REMAR Brazil, and his wife, Paula Ferreira, and invited pastors and friends, an edifying and unifying dinner to strengthen marriages as fundamental pillars of the ministry.

Inauguration of the Body of Christ Church in São Paulo and Prophetic Conference

As part of the activities of the 10th International Congress, the inauguration of the Church of the Body of Christ (IECC) took place in São Paulo, Brazil. This special event included a meeting with leaders of the congregation and a prophetic conference, where a message of hope and spiritual direction was shared. The inauguration marks an important achievement in the growth and expansion of REMAR’s mission in Brazil.

More than 30 Years of Work in Brazil

REMAR Brasil has worked tirelessly for over 30 years to provide support to the country’s most needy people. With work focused on fighting hunger and food security, the organization also serves people in vulnerable situations, offering reintegration programs and humanitarian aid to victims of tragedies and natural disasters.

Presence in Five Cities: Transforming Lives in Vulnerable Areas

REMAR Brazil has a broad presence in five key cities: Paraná, Espírito Santo, Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, with its national headquarters in Vila Galvão, Guarulhos. Over the years, the NGO has dedicated its efforts to working in the most vulnerable areas, offering comprehensive support to children at risk, families in extreme poverty and people undergoing rehabilitation.

In several communities, REMAR Brazil has established food distribution programs, providing assistance to hundreds of families living in areas of extreme need, such as landfills and slums, where resource scarcity is a constant. These food security programs have been a fundamental relief for many families facing food shortages on a daily basis.

Foster Homes: A Refuge for Rehabilitation and Comprehensive Development

In addition, REMAR has created a network of foster homes where it offers shelter and care to different groups in vulnerable situations. These include homes for married couples, care centres for women, single mothers with children, and people undergoing rehabilitation for addiction problems. These homes provide a safe and stable environment where people can receive the necessary support to change their lives and start anew.

REMAR Brazil’s work is a reflection of the organization’s commitment to the most disadvantaged, guaranteeing not only access to food and shelter, but also offering opportunities for rehabilitation, education and social reintegration, contributing to the comprehensive development of the communities in which it is present. Thanks to this effort, REMAR has been officially recognized as a public service entity in the city of Guarulhos, a testament to the transformative impact of its work.
