REMAR Guatemala: Health, Wellbeing and hope in the city of Children

Comprehensive medical day organized by REMAR and the Elim Church provide health and hope to children in San José Villa Nueva

In a show of commitment to the well-being of Guatemalan children, the NGO REMAR in Guatemala and the   Elim Church joined forces to carry out a comprehensive medical day in the Children’s City, located in San José, Villanueva. The initiative, which included the participation of volunteer doctors from the United States, provided complete medical care to children and adolescents in the community.

The day took place in an atmosphere of joy and hope, where the little patients received complete health checkups, including general medical, dental, vision checkups, and nutritional evaluations. Additionally, they were provided preventive medicine and educated about the importance of maintaining healthy health habits.

A commitment to health and well-being

REMAR Guatemala highlighted the importance of collaboration between different sectors to achieve a positive impact on the community. “This campaign is an example of what we can achieve when we work together for the common good,” said   the director of REMAR Guatemala, José Manuel Gómez.

The Medical Campaign ended successfully, serving a significant number of children and adolescents who now enjoy better health and well-being. The organizers thanked the collaborators and volunteer doctors for their invaluable contribution, and reaffirmed their commitment to the comprehensive development of Guatemalan children.

For his part, the director of REMAR Guatemala expressed his gratitude to the volunteer doctors and all the collaborators who made this activity possible. “His valuable contribution allows us to provide hope and well-being to the most vulnerable children,” he said.
