2024 is now behind us, a year full of challenges but also significant progress for REMAR USA. During that time, we worked tirelessly, reaching hundreds of vulnerable people throughout the United States.
Now, in 2025, we face new challenges with faith and hope. Our commitment remains firm: the doors of REMAR USA are continuously open to all those in need of help.
Action Lines for 2025: Shelter, support, and hope
In this new year, REMAR USA continues to strengthen its main areas of action:
Shelters for the Homeless In Fort Lauderdale and surrounding areas, we offer spiritual and physical aid to the homeless. Each week, we distribute food, clothes, blankets, and personal hygiene items, bringing them the love of Christ through Sunday services and offering a delicious dinner prepared with love and care by REMAR USA volunteers and collaborators.
Recovery and Rehabilitation Our comprehensive program guides people in recovery, providing them with tools for reintegration into society. We offer a safe home with a natural environment and a rehabilitation program that includes farming activities and various farm tasks, which are very useful for them to gradually regain healthy habits, use of time, dignity, stability, and face the future with hope.
Humanitarian Aid From Miami, we send containers loaded with clothes, food, construction materials, and more to countries in need, such as the Dominican Republic, every month. This effort allows hundreds of children and families to improve their living conditions and live with dignity.
Food Distribution Through strategic alliances, we deliver assorted food boxes to more than 100 families each week, benefiting hundreds of people in Miami. Our work aims to reach those who have been forgotten by society: families without resources, the homeless, the elderly, people at risk, and the indigent.
