A resounding success of the annual initiative that collected food and chocolates for vulnerable communities in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.

The NGO REMAR Brasil successfully completed its “Solidarity Easter” initiative, where thanks to the generosity of the community, three tons of food and chocolates were raised for the most needy families.
In collaboration with supermarkets in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, a collection of basic products, candy and chocolates was carried out, which were distributed in vulnerable communities in both cities. The action focused especially on children, who received the donated chocolates with great joy and enthusiasm.
This solidarity event is carried out every year by REMAR Brasil, with the aim of providing hope, joy and excitement to dozens of families without resources, during the Easter season.

More than three decades of humanitarian aid in the most vulnerable areas of the country
For more than 30 years, REMAR Brazil has been a beacon of hope for the country’s most needy people. With an active presence in various regions and provinces, its doors remain open 24 hours a day to provide support and assistance to anyone who requires it.
A comprehensive approach to transforming lives
REMAR Brazil’s work is not limited to a single aspect, but encompasses a wide range of services and programs designed to address the most pressing needs of the most vulnerable communities. Among its most notable actions we find:
- Food aid: Distribution of food kits to families in vulnerable situations, implementation of community kitchens and popular kitchens to guarantee access to nutritious food.
- Social care: Shelter homes, operation of soup kitchens, distribution of food and solidarity snacks, organization of visits to children’s hospitals, among other initiatives that seek to provide support and company to the most disadvantaged people.
- Addiction prevention and rehabilitation programs: Implementation of comprehensive programs that address the physical, emotional, spiritual and social aspects of addiction. Residents in REMAR Brazil homes receive spiritual and social care, in addition to participating in activities that allow them to develop the skills necessary to reintegrate into society.
