An emotional act of solidarity and love where 38 people with mental disabilities enjoyed a day of celebration, music, food and a lot of love
REMAR Brazil provides a day of joy and love at the Hogar Nova Francisco
In an emotional act of solidarity and love, the NGO REMAR Brasil, together with the charitable association Mooca Solidária, held an unforgettable day at the Hogar Nova Francisco. For a full day, the facilities of the home, which houses 38 people with mental deficiencies, schizophrenia and the elderly, were transformed into a space of celebration, joy, music and delicious food.
The main objective of the initiative was to provide the residents of Hogar Nova Francisco with a day of celebration, affection and company, filling their hearts with joy and well-being. For this, 80 pizzas and 100 liters of soft drinks were prepared free of charge, creating a festive and welcoming atmosphere.
A day full of smiles and shared moments
The joy and excitement of the residents of Hogar Nova Francisco were a reflection of the success of the day. They danced to the rhythm of the music, enjoyed the delicious food and shared moments of joy and brotherhood among themselves and with the volunteers from REMAR Brasil and Mooca Solidária.
“Our goal was for these people to feel loved and accompanied,” said one of the REMAR representatives. “We wanted to create a day of joy and celebration that would bring a little light and hope to their lives.”
The activity achieved its objective and the residents of the Home enjoyed every moment to the fullest. The smiles and gratitude on their faces were the best reward for the volunteers.

Thanks to the collaboration of the Mooca Solidária charity association, big-hearted volunteers and the generosity of many people, we managed to transform an ordinary day into an extraordinary one for the 38 people who reside in this home.
