An inspiring event that brought together a large family of faith, strengthening the vision and commitment to the work of REMAR in Portugal and the world
REMAR Portugal successfully completed its XXIX International Congress, held from June 14 to 16 under the motto “Sensible Virgins”. The event brought together a large family of faith, including brothers, friends, collaborators, missionaries and volunteers from REMAR Portugal, Spain and other countries, to enjoy three days full of communion, teaching of the Word and blessings.
The congress had the special participation of the Pastor and President of REMAR ONG, Miguel Díez, along with his wife Mari Carmen Jiménez, and several pastors of the Corpus of Christ church: Javier Jiménez, Ramón Ubillos, Luis Miguel Santos, Luis Brito, José Fernandes, Vitor Pinto and Jose Faria. In addition, guest pastors were present.
Plenary sessions, praise and worship
The plenary sessions of the congress were marked by times of praise, adoration and the word of God, creating an atmosphere of unity and strengthening the faith of those attending. The messages shared during the plenary sessions served to inspire and motivate each person to continue forward in their walk with the Lord, renewing their vision and commitment to the work of REMAR.
Evangelistic Campaign and Women’s Meeting
On Friday, June 14, at 5 p.m., an Evangelistic Campaign was carried out in Plaza Martin Moniz, with the aim of reaching more people with the message of salvation and making known the work of REMAR in helping people. with drug addiction problems. The campaign included music, testimonies, theater and the word of God, by Miguel Díez.
Likewise, a Women’s Meeting was organized with Mari Carmen Jiménez, who shared a special meeting between friends, sisters and guests, a time of communion, reflection, edification and words of wisdom.
Renewing vision and commitment
On Sunday, June 16, the congress culminated with a final time of plenary sessions, full of praise and the word of God. The participants celebrated in unity, renewing their vision and commitment to continue working every day with love and compassion for those most in need, strengthened in faith.
The XXIX International Congress of REMAR Portugal has been an inspiring and challenging event, which will undoubtedly leave a deep mark on the hearts of all who attended.
