The end of 2025 is marked by a new gesture of unity and solidarity between REMAR United States and REMAR Dominican Republic, strengthening the lives of dozens of children, vulnerable families and communities in need, including Haiti.
A year-end marked by unity and solidarity
2025 is drawing to a close, and with it, a new chapter of love, effort, and dedication is being written between REMAR USA and REMAR Dominican Republic. The last container of the year has been shipped from the United States, a gesture that symbolizes not only material provision but also the unity that binds these two countries where REMAR works daily, providing support to those who need it most.
Each container that is assembled and shipped is the result of hard work: collecting furniture, sorting aid, and the tireless efforts of volunteers who dedicate their time with love and generosity. However, this sacrifice is greatly rewarded when the smiles of dozens of children and vulnerable people celebrate the arrival of these life-changing resources.
Container arrives in Santo Domingo: a blessing that multiplies
In the Dominican Republic, the team of missionaries and volunteers joyfully and gratefully received the container. These were their words of thanks:
“We want to express our deepest gratitude for the shipment of a new van loaded with furniture and supplies for our shelters. This support allows us to continue providing a dignified, safe, and hopeful space for those who need it most. Thank you for being a fundamental part of this mission and for keeping our works of love and service alive. Together, we make change possible.”
A message that reflects the importance of this joint work and the shared effort that directly impacts the lives of children, young people and adults at risk.

New Year’s blessing for the children… and also for Haiti
December is a month of celebration and gratitude. For the children in REMAR’s homes in the Dominican Republic, the arrival of this container becomes part of that end-of-year blessing that fills their hearts with joy and hope.
But the aid doesn’t stop in the Dominican Republic. Through REMAR, this support also reaches children in the community of Los Cacaos, Haiti, where volunteers travel regularly to deliver clothing, shoes, medicine, and food. What is sent from the United States not only crosses borders, but also touches needs, realities, and hearts.

Looking ahead to 2026: a commitment that doesn’t stop
This final shipment marks the end of a year of love, solidarity, and shared effort. But it also opens the door to a 2026 full of new challenges, where REMAR USA and REMAR Dominican Republic will continue to join forces to:
- Reaching more children in vulnerable situations
- Strengthen foster homes and programs
- Blessing communities in need
- Boosting the economy of social projects
- Continue working out of love for God and neighbor
A task that does not stop, because the need continues, but so does the faith, dedication, and commitment of those who serve from the heart.
Thanks be to God and to the volunteers who make this possible
Before this year ends, we give thanks to God for the life and effort of all the REMAR USA volunteers, who lovingly and dedicatedly work to gather, organize, and prepare each container.
We also give thanks for the REMAR team in the Dominican Republic, who with that same spirit of service are responsible for receiving, downloading and distributing each resource so that it reaches the hands that most need support and provision.
