REMAR USA Oakshade of Hope Ranch: A place where every story counts and every life matters

Learn about REMAR USA’s impact in Florida: A mission of love for God and neighbor that transforms lives every day.

REMAR USA, with over 30 years of firm commitment to helping the most vulnerable, continues to be a gateway and a new beginning for those struggling with addiction and social exclusion. Since its inception in 1992, REMAR has worked tirelessly to offer a new opportunity to hundreds of people through comprehensive rehabilitation and reintegration programs.

One of the pillars of this work is the REMAR USA Oakshade of Hope Ranch, a space located in Montura, Clewiston, Florida, which is part of the first phase of the rehabilitation program. This place is not just a farm, but a home where men with addiction problems begin a new chapter, away from their environment and close to the love of God.

A Home of Hope in the Middle of Nature

At REMAR USA Oakshade of Hope Ranch, transformation is not only physical, but also spiritual and emotional. Surrounded by nature, men undergoing rehabilitation find a favorable environment to change their habits and begin   rebuilding their lives.

The team of missionaries and volunteers serving on this farm has witnessed countless stories of change, effort, and overcoming challenges. Each person who has passed through this place has left an indelible mark, and its restoration process is a testament to the power of God, love, faith, and perseverance.

“Today we fondly remember some of the men who have been part of our program. Each one left a special mark on this place and on our hearts. Seeing their faces reminds us why we keep going: because every life matters, every story counts, and every step toward restoration is a reason for hope. Thank you to all who support this journey. Let us continue to spread love and opportunity.”   — REMAR USA Volunteer Team

“And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore you, strengthen you, settle you, and make you firm.” — 1 Peter 5:10

A foster home, a space for living and service

In addition to rehabilitation, REMAR USA promotes self-sustainability projects on the farm, where they work with farm animals and farm labor. These activities strengthen responsibility and offer practical tools for the men’s future reintegration into society.

But REMAR USA’s work goes much further. In Florida, they also coordinate shipments of humanitarian aid containers to countries with high needs, where REMAR works with homes for children and adolescents, individuals, and families at risk. In Miami, food is distributed weekly to families in need, and on Sundays, an evangelistic event is held for the homeless, where they are provided with spiritual nourishment, a hot meal, and a time of fellowship.

This comprehensive, ongoing work, grounded in the love of God, has transformed the lives of hundreds of people. Every day, volunteers continue to serve with dedication, driven by love for God and their neighbors, to reach more people in need.
