In Remar today we remember the World Day against Child Labor, which is celebrated every June 12.
Remar, as a social, development and humanitarian organization, has no borders. We develop action programs with integral attention to the person, aimed at impoverished people on the planet; especially we work in favor of children. Remar, together with other local sister organizations distributed in 70 countries, has built and attended schools, shelters, schools, and training workshops, has managed soup kitchens, camps and leisure activities, in favor of thousands of children.
Through community development work and international networking, we work to help people, especially children, who are victims of so many unjust situations such as abuse, exploitation, mistreatment and poverty, to progressively emerge from a situation of exclusion caused by the social, health, economic and political crises in the territories where we are present.
At Remar we will continue with the vision of improving the quality of life of all these children, making our homes a refuge where they feel safe and welcomed, and improving their education and training in our schools, so that there will be a better future for them.
“But Jesus said suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” – Matthew 19:14
