International Action Coronavirus

The world community faces a crisis of greater scale, urgency and complexity. For millions of people, this pandemic has exacerbated hunger, poverty, conflict and gender inequality, all of which have the potential to be equal to or even more deadly than the virus itself.

While the COVID-19 pandemic affects us all, it does not affect everyone in the same way. Many of the worst impacts fall primarily on the vulnerable communities in which we work. Extreme poverty is increasing for the first time in two decades.

Remar continues to support urgent efforts to prevent the spread of the virus, we are also redoubling our work to protect and build food security, economic opportunity, peace and stability in the world’s most fragile environments. REMAR continues to provide food aid to thousands of people around the world, because we never tire of doing good.
